Fort Lauderdale

Yoga classes in Fort Lauderdale for every level.

Finding the right yoga class in Fort Lauderdale comes down to finding a teacher who pays attention. Whether you are stepping onto a mat for the first time, returning after a long break, or looking to deepen an existing practice, Infinite Yoga® offers a supportive space built around progressive, intelligent sequencing.

Sara Grossman has taught yoga since 2007 in the Krishnamacharya lineage. Her classes are trauma-informed and built for every level, from first-timers to first responders. Each class builds step by step toward a peak pose your body is ready for, with a version of every shape for every body.

Studio classes take place at Prana Hot Yoga and Bodyworks on 17th Street. Yin runs Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 pm, and Heated Vinyasa Flow is Friday at 6:30 pm. There is also a live Monday morning Zoom class at 9 am Eastern, so you can practice from anywhere. If you want one-to-one attention, private sessions come to you across Broward County.

Every class is designed so each pose has clear modifications. You can participate safely without pressure or performance anxiety. Props, modifications, and hands-off options are always available, and you will not be adjusted without being asked first. You can read more about Sara Grossman, who has been guiding students through trauma-informed Hatha and Vinyasa practices since 2007.

You do not need to be flexible to start. Flexibility is a result of practice, not a requirement for it. You do not need experience, special clothes, or a particular body type. You need a mat if you have one, water, and clothes you can move in. Mats and props are available at the studio.

If you are nervous about your first class, that is normal. Tell Sara when you arrive, and she will keep an eye on you the whole time. Nothing in class is mandatory, and you can rest whenever your body asks for it. Your first class is free, so the only thing you are spending is an hour.
